Russian, U.S. and British media and law enforcement are investigating the influence of the Chechen terrorist mouthpiece, Doku Umarov's "Kavkaz Center" on the Boston terrorists. There is evidence that Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev received instructions from Doku Umarov's "Kavkaz Center", an extremist website, listed as terrorist information channel of Doku Umarov by United Nations Security Council.

UN Security Council lists Doku Umarov as a terrorist (http://www.un.org/sc/committees/1267/NSQI29011E.shtml), his "Emarat Kavkaz" as a terrorist organization, spreading terrorist threats, recruitment information via his mouthpiece "Kavkaz Center" (http://www.un.org/sc/committees/1267/NSQE13111E.shtml), and "Riyadus-Salikhin Reconnaissance and Sabotage Battalion of Chechen Martyrs" as one of their terrorist structures (http://www.un.org/sc/committees/1267/NSQE10003E.shtml). According to experts, it cannot be excluded, that the "Battalion of Chechen Martyrs" operates in Finland, where servers and office of Doku Umarov's"Kavkaz Center" is located in Helsinki downtown at address Bulevardi 2.

It is well-known that a Finnish pro-Chechen activist Mr. Mikael Storsjö [pronounced "Sturshe"] organised the illegal entry into Finland of dozens of Chechen militants, many of whom now work for Doku Umarov's"Kavkaz Center" in Storsjö's office at Bulevardi 2 in downtown Helsinki. Several internationally wanted terrorists have appeared at this address together with Storsjö and his political supporter Mrs. Heidi HautalaAmong them are figures
close to Doku Umarov and Shamil Basaev, who according to experts, now form the "Battalion of Chechen Martyrs" and maintain "Kavkaz Сenter" in Helsinki for recruiting terrorists, delivering instructions and extremist messages. Storsjö has publicly announced, that he is financing the Chechen terrorist underground, which he calls freedom fighters, and that he is providing all resources for "Kavkaz Center".

Mikael Storsjö and his "Batallion" have received full political support for their extremist activities from the Finnish Green party politician, current Minister of Intentional Development Heidi Hautala. Hautala and Storsjö have together registered several organizations in Sweden and Finland for receiving financing and political support for "Kavkaz Center". Hautala has also organised several press-conferences for supporting Doku Umarov's "Kavkaz Center" in Finland. According to Russian media, Heidi Hautala is supporting terrorists and identifying common interests of various anti-Russian groups.

Another Finnish extremist supporting Storsjö is Antero Leitzinger who works as a researcher at the Finnish Migration Service, being responsible for political asylum applications from the Caucasus.
Leitzinger has for years promoted "independent" Chechnya. He claims an analogue between the Soviet-Finnish Winter War of 1939-1940 and the Chechen rebellion, according to which, Finns should give special protection to Chechens and fight together with them against Russia. Via Leitzinger's expert statements, the Finnish Migration Service has granted asylum for dozens of militants, including alleged members of "Battalion of Chechen Martyrs", now operating "Kavkaz Center" in Helsinki. In an article published in "Helsingin Sanomat" already in 1995, Leitzingerthreatened the world with a terrorist revenge, if the West does not support independent Chechnya. "If indifference in the outside world continues, Chechens will inevitably resort to the fighting style of their ancestors, which does not meet international standards of clean warfare", Leitzinger wrote. In 1995 he also published an extremist booklet titled "Chechens", in which he announces his association with Doku Umarov, who at that time, according to Leitzinger, was leading "Chechen Youth Movement of National Recovery". Since that, as a leading Finnish expert of North Caucasus, Leitzinger has contributed granting political asylum to vast majority of Chechen militants. In his fanatic statement "To the People of Chechnya", Leitzinger writes: "The Finnish nation is closely watching your heroic struggle, and that we too are joining you in our prayer to God for granting you victory, peace and independence, which you truly have earned at such high sacrifices! May God continue giving you strength and endurance to hold on, and others wisdom to realize, that in the end, justice must prevail!"

Examples of above mentioned extremist writings by Finnish Migration Service employee Antero Leitzinger, including terrorist threats. Above excerpt from Leitzinger's book "The Chechens" and his statement "To the People of Chechnya", below excerpt from Leitzinger's article in "Helsingin Sanomat":
